Janksy is very much a child at this time . It mixes simple slide - and - release gameplay with a sprinkling of physics , bite - sized levels , and a grading system that awards you three gold items if you get everything right level .
This is not a bad game , and fixes it adds meaning it is not just another Angry Birds clone , but occasional control problems and an uninspiring appearance means it is dedicated to muck around with mediocrity rather than soar to heights setting planet - hopping it suggests it will .
Angry space man
The game is about to drag the intrepid space explorer heading back to his space ship with an expansion of gravity nails . Janksy press and then release the claw in the direction you want to jump . The farther the claw goes , the faster you fly .
There are three gold swirly vortex to collect on each level , and grabbing all of them is the only way to get the highest score . To begin with it is a simple task , but soon you're having to fight in asteroid fields , black holes , and the planet .
Bob platforms around the level and landing on it lets you take another shot at your nails , but sometimes you fly straight through them instead of landing, and the animation when my feet would purchase is jerky and awkward .
The difficulty curve is mild , but there's never really any challenges . New obstacles are introduced in small enough gap that things never get stale , but they add to the entertainment never all that astounding or new .
Planet hopping
Janksy is entertaining enough small explosion , but it never quite manages to worm its way into your head . There's never push to see the next level , and the dull background and tired - looking sprites only add to that.
If you stay in the game , you'll find a decent amount to enjoy . It is not revolutionary , nor is it to win awards for its looks, but there is a solid core design , when things go right , ensuring at least you're having some fun .
If you're looking for a game that really shows off what you can make your new Windows 8 tablet , though , you 're better off looking elsewhere.
